Environmental Conservation & Forestry
2-Year Program

In the Environmental Conservation and Forestry Program, young professionals engage in experiential learning based on current industry standards relating to sustainable forestry techniques, heavy equipment operation, maple syrup production, horticulture and arboriculture. This program is designed to give young professionals a better understanding of our natural resources as they train for a variety of outdoor careers. Applied learning is provided through project-based learning in our out-of-doors classroom. Young professionals will participate in school-based enterprise in firewood processing, maple syrup sales and in our greenhouse seed to sale operation.
