Explicit skills that are used in broad variety of occupations across the health care industry are the focus of this program. Lab practice, simulations, job shadowing and clinical experiences are an integral part of this program. Young professionals receive instruction and preparation for the NYS Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Technician exams and qualifications. This program is an excellent start for entering the health care field or for continuing in a post-secondary health profession career pathway.
